Renowned Rabbi Aharon Toyssig Leads Special Tisha B'Av Prayer for Donors' Salvation and Mercy

Rabbi Aharon Toyssig, a well-known spiritual influencer whose blessings have previously brought salvation to many, has agreed to serve as a special emissary for donors of the 'Kupat Ha'Ir' charity. On Tisha B'Av, the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av, he will conduct an emotional prayer session while sitting on the floor and shedding tears, invoking a unique spiritual practice passed down from Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz, a prominent disciple of the Baal Shem Tov.

Rabbi Pinchas wrote that the greatest time for prayers of salvation and mercy is on Tisha B'Av while sitting on the ground, combining mourning for the destruction of the Temple with personal supplications. Rabbi Toyssig, known for his deep emotional connection and hours of weeping on this day, will pray specifically for the donors of Kupat Ha'Ir, asking for salvation and mercy for various needs including matchmaking delays, livelihood challenges, childlessness, health, success in Torah study, and spiritual joy.

The prayer will take place near midday, after the recitation of kinnot (lamentations) and before rising from the floor. Rabbi Toyssig will also sign a "Document of Salvation and Mercy," invoking the power of charity and prayer at this auspicious time to bring swift blessings to the donors. The document cites Rabbi Pinchas's handwritten testimony about the special spiritual opportunity on Tisha B'Av while sitting on the ground.

Donors wishing to have their names included in this prayer event are encouraged to submit them before midday on Tisha B'Av. This initiative aims to harness the unique spiritual moment to bring mercy and salvation to those in need through the combined power of prayer and charity.
