Social media users criticized the clip, claiming one character resembled Gadi Eizenkot's late son, Gal, who died in combat, sparking accusations of insensitivity. The Likud party denied any connection between the figure and Gal Eizenkot, calling the claims "spin." In response to the uproar, Orich released a similar video featuring a female figure, stating it was "to remove all doubt." Yedioth Ahronoth's television critic Einav Schiff commented that while he doubted Netanyahu's team would intentionally use imagery resembling Eizenkot's heroic son, the resemblance to an average Israeli made such associations inevitable.
