Gadi Eisenkot's Party Demands Netanyahu Remove AI Campaign Video

Gadi Eisenkot's "Yashar!" party has sent a legal warning to the Likud party, demanding the removal of a campaign video posted on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's X account. The party claims the video violates election law by using artificial intelligence to create a false impression of authentic documentation without proper labeling.

The "Yashar!" party alleges the video falsely depicts a large, well-attended election rally and includes a song labeling Eisenkot and Avigdor Lieberman as left-wing figures. They argue the video was intended to create the impression of a massive event, despite the Likud not holding a campaign launch rally. The party further contends that the publication constitutes a "severe violation of the law's provisions, which could mislead the voting public and present artificial content as if it were real documentation."

Eisenkot's party has set a deadline of 2:00 PM on Friday for the video's removal, threatening legal action if the demand is not met. The Likud party has rejected these claims, launching a sharp counterattack against Eisenkot. In a statement, the Likud declared, "There is no reason to continue hiding the truth, Eisenkot is a left-wing figure who will form a left-wing government with Yair Golan, Avigdor Lieberman, and the Arab parties."
