A Channel 13 report says internal tensions have intensified in Naftali Bennett’s Together party campaign, as the party has weakened in recent polls. The report describes sharp clashes among senior figures in the campaign and says one senior aide close to Bennett, who is seen as one of its main campaign leaders, blamed several people for the party’s troubles.

According to the report, people around Bennett are arguing that opposition leader Yair Lapid has pulled away right-wing voters who had previously backed Bennett. There is also criticism of Lior Chorev, who was appointed the party’s strategist, with claims that he has struggled to help the campaign out of its slump.

One quoted source in Bennett’s circle said, “We have two ‘attacks’, one is Yair Lapid, the other is Lior Chorev. If there is no change, it will be hard for us to recover.” The report also said major disputes have been taking place in recent days between people involved in running the campaign, and that Bennett is expected to have to make decisions to restore order and stabilize the headquarters.
