Maccabi Tel Aviv Includes Asante and Blitz in Squad for Europa League Qualifier

Maccabi Tel Aviv is set to include foreign players Tyrese Asante and Christian Blitz in their squad for the upcoming Europa League qualifying match against Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova. Both players have recently undergone light training sessions and are expected to be available to coach Kenny Miller, although they will likely start on the bench. Asante is currently recovering from an illness, and Blitz has not yet completed full training sessions, which may result in Itamar Noy and Issouf Sisoko continuing in the starting lineup. Additionally, Ido Shahar is expected to start again on the wing. In the Champion of Champions match, Maccabi Tel Aviv used a 4-4-2 formation with Dor Peretz playing as a forward alongside Said Abu Freih, leading to a 3-1 win over the reigning champions Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
