The Mosli and Jarushi crime families have enlisted a well-known sports figure to mediate their ongoing conflict. This individual, familiar to Israeli sports fans and connected to both Yossi and Eli Mosli through shared sports interests, as well as to Barak Abramov regarding Beitar Jerusalem matters, is facilitating negotiations to resolve the dispute. The feud, which began as a financial disagreement, escalated into violent confrontations including 17 incidents of grenade and stun grenade attacks, shootings, and damage to several Japnika sushi chain branches.

The conflict has caused significant damage, notably to Japnika locations in Herzliya and Kiryat Ono. Following recent investigative developments, an additional suspect in his twenties from Bat Yam was arrested for throwing a stun grenade at a Japnika restaurant in Kiryat Ono and is set for a remand hearing. If negotiations succeed, the Mosli family is expected to pay approximately 10 million shekels in compensation to the Jarushi family within about two weeks, potentially ending the violent dispute.
