Fiorentina Eyes Permanent Transfer for Israeli Midfielder Manor Solomon from Tottenham

Manor Solomon, the Israeli midfielder currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, may return to Fiorentina on a permanent deal. Although Tottenham does not include Solomon in their future plans and he has yet to find a new club, Italian media continue to link him with a move back to Fiorentina, where he spent the latter half of last season. The loan agreement included a purchase option set at 10 million euros, which has now expired, but Tottenham might still accept that amount to facilitate the transfer.

A key factor favoring Solomon's potential return is his Portuguese citizenship. Under Italian league registration rules, clubs can only register two new non-European players per season. Solomon’s European Union passport means he would not count against this quota, making him a more attractive signing for Fiorentina.

Fiorentina is also exploring other options for the winger position, including Alejandro Garnacho, expected to leave Chelsea this summer, and Johan Bakayoko from RB Leipzig. The club appears intent on strengthening its squad with versatile attacking players ahead of the new season.
