Fiorentina Reopens the Door to Manor Solomon Signing

Fiorentina is again considering signing Israel winger Manor Solomon, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Italian club. The Viola had already decided not to trigger the 10 million euro purchase option in their deal with Tottenham, but a transfer is once more possible for next season.

The new opening comes after Tottenham told Solomon that he will not be part of the squad next season. According to the report, Fiorentina is now weighing either a cheaper permanent transfer or another loan deal with an option to buy.

Solomon wants to stay in Florence because he feels connected to the club and wants more stability after several up-and-down seasons. Fiorentina is also evaluating Maccabi Tel Aviv left back Roy Revivo as another candidate.

Solomon joined Fiorentina after a difficult half-season at Villarreal, where he played only 163 minutes. His start in Serie A was promising, as he worked his way into the lineup, scored in consecutive matches against Napoli and Torino, and then missed about five weeks with a muscle injury. After returning, he added two assists, one in the Conference League and one in the league against Juventus.
