Transfer expert sets a steep price for Manor Solomon as Tottenham tell him to find a club
Tottenham have told Manor Solomon he is not part of their plans for next season and should look for a new team, according to One Football. The Israeli winger previously worked successfully with Tottenham coach Roberto De Zerbi at Shakhtar Donetsk, but now appears unlikely to break into the Spurs rotation.
Fiorentina had an option to buy Solomon for 10 million euros, but reports in Italy say the club tried to lower that price and it is still unclear whether talks will end in a deal. A return to Leeds United is also being considered.
British transfer expert Stefan Brunson said Solomon is worth about 20 million pounds in the current market. “I think that is his value in the current market. Tottenham want to sell, they have to,” he said.
Brunson added that Tottenham need to balance their budget and that the transfer could suit all sides. He said the fee “feels like that range,” and that it is a figure Leeds could afford, provided they add enough quality to avoid a relegation battle next season and can then build gradually as they prepare for the stadium’s expanded capacity.
