US Launches Tenth Consecutive Night of Strikes on Iranian Military Targets

The United States has initiated a tenth consecutive night of military strikes against Iranian targets, aiming to degrade Iran's capabilities in the Strait of Hormuz. The new wave of attacks began at 23:00 Israel time, according to the US Central Command (CENTCOM). These strikes target Iranian military assets used to threaten commercial shipping in the strategic waterway.

Prior to the US announcement, Iranian media reported loud explosions in the port cities of Bandar Abbas and Sirik. Air defense systems were activated near the Bushehr nuclear power plant, and explosions were also reported in Isfahan. Meanwhile, missile and drone launches from Iran triggered air raid sirens in Kuwait, where the military confirmed full activation of its air defense systems to intercept threats.

The strikes followed a stern warning from US President Donald Trump on his social media platform Truth Social, where he declared that any harm to American soldiers would be met with severe retaliation. Trump stated, "Every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will pay multiple times over." He also confirmed that directives had been issued to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Joint Chiefs Chairman Daniel Kain, and all military commanders regarding the response.
