Senior security officials, including Shin Bet chief David Zini, reportedly advocated for the decision's publication, but Netanyahu and several ministers opposed making it public. Additionally, the report referenced internal criticism within Shin Bet regarding Zini's handling of Jewish violence in the West Bank.
