Three Injured in Crash Near Pelugot Junction, One Critically Hurt

On Monday evening, a serious traffic accident occurred near Pelugot Junction on Highway 35 involving a car and a motorcycle. A 23-year-old motorcyclist sustained severe injuries to his abdomen and limbs and was treated on-site by Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics before being rushed to Barzilai Medical Center in critical condition. Two other car passengers were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The incident was reported to MDA's emergency center at 17:07, and emergency responders provided initial medical care at the scene. Paramedic Ariel Elbaz described the motorcyclist's injuries as significant and confirmed the critical status upon hospital transfer.
