26-Year-Old Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash Near Givat Ze'ev

A serious traffic accident occurred on Road 45 near the Givat Ze'ev junction towards Atarot in the Jerusalem district on Friday. The collision involved a private car and a motorcycle. The 26-year-old motorcyclist sustained severe injuries, including serious limb trauma, and was urgently transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment. The car driver suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Paramedics and medics from Magen David Adom arrived at the scene and provided life-saving first aid. The motorcyclist was found lying on the road at a considerable distance from his bike, semi-conscious and with severe limb injuries. Emergency treatment included applying a tourniquet and stopping heavy bleeding before evacuation by ambulance.

Jerusalem district police officers managed traffic and reopened the blocked road. Accident investigators from the Jerusalem district began collecting evidence and examining the circumstances that led to the crash. Both vehicles sustained significant damage, with the private car suffering extensive body damage.
