Fake AI Image of Gal Gadot Supporting Spain Sparks Online Backlash

A digitally manipulated image showing Israeli actress Gal Gadot wearing a shirt with the name of Spanish footballer Amin Yamal circulated widely on social media, igniting controversy. The image, posted on an Instagram fan page, appeared to depict Gadot watching the World Cup final supporting Spain. However, the photo was created using artificial intelligence and was not shared on Gadot's official accounts.

The fake image drew thousands of comments, many criticizing Gadot for allegedly backing Spain, especially since Amin Yamal, a 17-year-old Muslim player of Moroccan descent, had recently waved a Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) flag during Barcelona's championship celebrations.
