Mia Khalifa Wins $1.65 Million Betting on Spain’s 2026 World Cup Victory, Celebrates with Free Palestine Message
Former adult film star Mia Khalifa claimed a massive payout after betting $1 million on Spain to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina. The match, held at MetLife Stadium, ended 1-0 in extra time in favor of Argentina, but Khalifa’s bet was reportedly on Spain’s victory, with odds of 1.65, resulting in a total return of approximately $1.65 million and a profit of around $650,000 before fees and taxes.
Khalifa attended the final wearing a Barcelona jersey with the name of player Lamine Yamal, expressing open support for the Spanish team. She posted on social media a photo of herself in the jersey alongside the caption “Free Palestine.” Previously, she has made multiple antisemitic remarks criticizing Israel.
On Instagram, Khalifa wrote, “I believed and won big. So proud of my home country Spain, even though I don’t have a drop of Spanish blood.” She also mentioned trusting her “divine intuition” in sports betting and expressed satisfaction at the chance to “hate Messi up close.” Leading up to the final, she repeatedly supported Spain’s rivals and mocked Argentina with the nickname “VARgentina,” referencing controversial refereeing decisions during the tournament.
Khalifa explained her support for Spain was motivated by “love in sports rivalry” and referenced numerology related to Yamal, who played at age 19, on the 19th day of the month, wearing jersey number 19. Although her predicted score of 3-1 for Spain with a goal by Yamal did not materialize, her main bet reportedly yielded a substantial win.
