IDF Traps Dozens of Hezbollah Militants in Strategic Tunnel Network in Lebanon's Ali Taher Ridge
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have encircled a strategic tunnel network beneath the Ali Taher Ridge in Lebanon, trapping approximately 40 Hezbollah militants inside. The ridge has become a central hotspot of conflict in recent days. Despite attempts, the militants have only managed to bring in minimal supplies of food and water, which are expected to run out within days.
The tunnel complex, extending over a kilometer, serves as a command and control center for Hezbollah, housing weapons depots and rocket launch facilities. Although Israel has conducted airstrikes against the site, the deeply buried network remains largely intact. IDF soldiers are stationed at the tunnel entrances, preventing the militants from escaping.
Security officials are preparing for the possibility that the trapped militants may attempt aggressive actions out of desperation once their supplies are depleted. The situation represents one of the most complex arenas of confrontation currently within Lebanese territory.
