Police Arrest Local Man After Finding Gun and Ammunition at Daburiyya Horse Farm
Israeli police and Border Police fighters discovered a pistol, magazines, and ammunition hidden near a horse stable in the town of Daburiyya during an operation on Sunday. The search was conducted by Northern District police officers and National Guard fighters following intelligence about illegal weapons possession by criminal elements in the area. A 44-year-old local resident was arrested at the scene. The seized weapons were transferred to the Israel Police laboratories for further forensic analysis. Authorities plan to request an extension of the suspect's detention at the Nof HaGalil-Nazareth Magistrate's Court as the investigation continues. Since the beginning of the year, Northern District police, with Border Police support, have confiscated over 500 lethal weapons and arrested numerous armed suspects in operational activities.
