Two Arab Minors Arrested for Spitting on Ultra-Orthodox Man in Jerusalem's Old City
Two Arab minors from Jerusalem's Old City were arrested on suspicion of racially motivated assault against a Jewish man near the Damascus Gate (Sha'ar Shechem) two nights ago. According to police investigations and the "Mabat Yerushalayim" observers, one of the suspects approached the victim without provocation and spat at him, while the other recorded the incident on his mobile phone. The video was reportedly intended for social media dissemination. Following the report, officers from the Shalem police station in the Jerusalem district quickly located and detained the two suspects. During the search, police seized a mobile phone containing the footage of the attack. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
