Three Minors Arrested Over Attack on Children Praying at the Western Wall Plaza

Jerusalem District police arrested three minor suspects today, all residents of East Jerusalem, on suspicion of attacking several children who were praying at the Western Wall’s smaller prayer area, known as the Kotel HaKatan.

The assault was identified by observers from the Mabat 2000 surveillance system. Police said the suspects were taken for questioning at the David District station.

A court later ordered that their detention be extended. No further details were released about the victims or the circumstances of the attack.
