Ra'am Seeks Support from Druze and Christian Communities in Election Drive

Mansour Abbas, chairman of Ra'am (United Arab List) and representative of the Islamic Movement's southern branch in the Knesset, is campaigning to broaden his party's voter base beyond Muslim constituents. Speaking at a recent election rally in Kabul, Abbas emphasized the party's commitment to representing all segments of the Arab community, including Christians and Druze. He stated, "Whoever demands true equality must implement equality among all members of our society," underscoring Ra'am's inclusive approach.

Abbas highlighted the party's goal of partnership not only with Jewish citizens but also within the diverse Arab society, saying, "We do not differentiate between Muslims, Christians, and Druze." He reassured communities not traditionally aligned with Ra'am that the party serves all Arab towns and villages equally, regardless of political affiliations of local leaders. Abbas concluded by calling for unity and equality to overcome racism and fascism, stressing the need to instill these values across all social, political, and religious divides within the society.
