Rodina Moscow Seeks To Sign Netanya Midfielder Basem Za'arura
Russian media reported on July 26 that Rodina Moscow, a newly promoted club to the Russian Premier League, is interested in acquiring Basem Za'arura, a midfielder currently playing for Maccabi Netanya. Za'arura is under contract with Netanya through 2027 and had an impressive last season, scoring ten goals. The 23-year-old former Maccabi Haifa player has also made three appearances for Israel's youth national team. In May, Netanya's coach Roni Levy exercised an option to retain Za'arura following his strong performance. Za'arura joined Netanya in 2023 and was loaned to Hapoel Tveria during the 2024/25 season. The potential transfer marks a surprising development in the summer transfer window.
