Police Investigate Human Skull Found Near Jerusalem's Lifta Spring

On Thursday afternoon, a human skull was discovered near the Lifta spring area at the entrance to Jerusalem. A passerby who was walking in the vicinity found the skull and immediately alerted the police. Forensic identification teams and ZAKA rescue and recovery volunteers were dispatched to the scene to examine the findings. The skull has been taken for identification tests and will be cross-checked against open police cases. The investigation into the discovery is ongoing.
