The incident occurred during a murder trial in the Nahalat neighborhood. After Palman introduced herself as a representative of the public broadcaster, the prosecutor laughed and said, "Poison 11," a derogatory play on the channel's name. Palman later addressed the incident on social media, expressing her shock and disappointment, stating she had endured verbal attacks from suspects' families and the public but never expected such disrespect from a police officer. She added that the level of incitement against journalists has worsened to the point that even law enforcement personnel feel entitled to insult reporters. When Palman brought the comment to the judge's attention during the hearing, the judge did not intervene and later told her he had not heard the remark.
