Kardashian Family Bodyguard Mason Hines Dies in Fatal Car Accident at 52
Mason Hines, the longtime bodyguard for the Kardashian-Jenner family, died on July 4 at the age of 52 following a fatal car accident just two days before his 53rd birthday. His family shared the news on a GoFundMe page, describing Hines as a devoted husband to his wife Fay and a loving father to his children Brooke and Noah. They praised him as a person who made others feel safe and valued, a mentor with a big heart who would go to great lengths to help friends in need.
Hines had worked closely with prominent family members including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Kanye West, as well as Kim’s current partner, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. He was part of the security team during the 2016 armed robbery incident involving Kim Kardashian in Paris, though he refrained from discussing details publicly. Beyond the Kardashian-Jenner circle, Hines also provided security for celebrities such as Charlie Puth, Nicki Minaj, and Kevin Hart.
Trojan Security UK, Hines’ employer, paid tribute to him on Instagram, calling him a "true legend in close protection" and mourning his untimely passing. The GoFundMe campaign aims to cover funeral expenses and provide financial support to his immediate family. So far, the Kardashian family has not publicly commented or confirmed any contributions to the funeral fund. This tragedy follows the death of Kylie Jenner’s hairstylist a year and a half ago, marking another loss among the family’s close associates.
