Beitar Jerusalem Ordered to Pay Ashdod 450,000 Shekels for Noam Mouta Transfer
The Player Status Committee has finalized the compensation amount that Beitar Jerusalem must pay M.S. Ashdod for the transfer of player Noam Mouta. Ashdod initially demanded at least 1.1 million shekels for Mouta's move to the capital club. However, on Thursday morning, the committee ruled that Beitar Jerusalem is required to pay Ashdod 450,000 new shekels as compensation for training and developing the player.
The decision was made after considering all relevant factors, with the adjudicator stating that Ashdod is entitled to this amount for their role in Mouta's development. Noam Mouta officially signed a three-year contract with Beitar Jerusalem during the previous season. In his last season with Ashdod, he made 26 appearances, scored one goal, and provided one assist.
This ruling concludes the dispute between the two clubs regarding the transfer fee for Mouta, who moved from the southern port city club to the Jerusalem-based team.
