Slovenia Lifts Arms Embargo and Sanctions on Israel

The Slovenian government led by Janez Janša has decided to отменל all measures taken by the previous government against Israel, including political and economic restrictions as well as the embargo on arms exports and imports between the two countries. In a joint statement, Slovenia’s foreign and defense ministries said the government had canceled a series of decisions made during Robert Golob’s term, including the declaration of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir as persona non grata, as well as the ban on imports of goods originating in settlements. Foreign Minister Gideon Saar welcomed the move and wrote on X, "Janša is a courageous leader and a true friend of Israel."
