Producers of the Nova Festival expressed their respect for the bravery of the Southern District police, Border Police fighters, and all officers who fought, were injured, or killed during the October 7 massacre. This statement came after the police presented their investigation reports on the event's handling at the festival. The producers highlighted the crucial initial decision by Chief Superintendent Nivi Ohana, the event commander, followed by the directive from then-Southern District Chief Amir Cohen to disperse the festival. They credited this decision with saving many lives by enabling police and remaining security forces to evacuate thousands of attendees and help them escape the attack.
