Irit Frank Elected Chair of Israel Artists Association to Lead Cultural Advancement

Irit Frank has been elected as the new chairperson of the Israel Artists Association (AMI), which represents stage and screen artists in Israel since 1997. Frank, 67, who recently stepped down as CEO of the Simta Theater in Jaffa after more than 20 years, replaces outgoing chairwoman actress Yona Elian-Keshet. The new leadership team includes vice chairs Ron Gang and Maayan Segal, with board members such as Moti Dichena, Uri Banai, Naomi Katz, Uri Drori, Bat Chen Hovardi Kashi, Ilan Sass, Roni Kidar, and Yehali Handros Dagmi.

Frank brings extensive experience in acting, directing, and theater management. She expressed pride and a strong sense of mission in taking on the role, aiming to strengthen AMI as a shared home for all artists and to engage the younger generation in leading cultural activities. AMI CEO Yossi Zinger welcomed the new leadership, expressing confidence that they will achieve significant accomplishments and position the association at the heart of Israel's cultural scene.
