Akro Wins Tenant Tender for 440-Unit Urban Renewal Project in Kfar Saba

Akro was selected this week in a tenant tender to lead a large urban renewal project in the Weizmann-Jerusalem complex in central Kfar Saba. The site covers approximately 9 dunams and currently contains six residential buildings with about 180 housing units. Under the plan, the existing buildings will be demolished and replaced with a new complex featuring around 440 housing units, along with commercial, employment, and open public spaces. The design includes a mix of towers up to 24 stories and mid-rise buildings.

The complex is located near the Arazim Mall and close to the planned Weizmann station on the M1 metro line. The architectural design is managed by Kika Architects. The tenant tender was overseen by attorney Orit Rimon from Dan Bar-El & Co., representing the apartment owners, while supervision is led by engineer and chairman of the Israeli Supervisors Association, Lior Zeitler from A.L Engineering.

Akro's CEO of Urban Renewal, Dikla Persiko, expressed gratitude for the trust placed by the residents. She noted that this project complements Akro's recently approved "Orange Complex" project in Kfar Saba and reflects the company's ongoing expansion and commitment to quality urban renewal in high-demand areas. Persiko emphasized their experience in urban renewal enables efficient planning, process acceleration, and personal support for residents throughout the project, aiming to improve living environments and contribute to the city's renewal.
