Josh Nivo Officially Signs Two-Year Deal with Barcelona Basketball

Josh Nivo, a former Maccabi Tel Aviv player, has officially signed with Barcelona, the Catalan club announced on social media on July 15, 2026. Nivo parted ways with Milan recently and will now join the Spanish team. He originally joined Milan in the summer of 2024 after two seasons with Maccabi Tel Aviv. During his last months with Milan, reports indicated that Barcelona offered him a two-year contract worth six million dollars.

Before his time in Milan, Nivo played for Zalgiris and was previously affiliated with Hapoel Eilat after going undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft. In the past season, he averaged 10.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague. This move marks a significant step in Nivo's career as he continues to compete at a high level in European basketball.
