IDF Spokesperson Shira Brown Removed After Showing Military TikTok to Antisemitic Influencer
Shira Brown, a soldier serving in the IDF's international communications division, has been removed from her role and unit following an incident involving an antisemitic influencer. Brown was seen in Tel Aviv with 20-year-old Brayden Eric Peters, known as Clavicular, an influencer with antisemitic views. During their meeting, Brown showed Peters the official IDF TikTok page on her device.
The IDF leadership conducted a disciplinary hearing regarding Brown's conduct, resulting in her being sentenced to a conditional imprisonment sentence. This punishment will be enforced if she commits another disciplinary offense in the future. Additionally, her military specialty was revoked, and she will be transferred out of the spokesperson unit to another IDF unit.
The IDF spokesperson confirmed the disciplinary measures and emphasized that Brown's actions were inconsistent with the military's standards. The case highlights the IDF's strict stance on maintaining the integrity of its personnel and preventing association with individuals promoting hateful ideologies.
