The decision was reportedly communicated to Roth through the media, leaving him deeply hurt and feeling disrespected. Roth's associates described the firing as "a despicable and ugly act," noting that no one from the network contacted him directly to prepare him for the news.

In the wake of Roth's departure, restaurateur and former MasterChef contestant Daniel Kitzis is expected to join the upcoming season of the show on Reshet 13. While the exact nature of her role has not yet been finalized, negotiations are reportedly in their final stages.
