Israel Appoints Yonatan Feld as Ambassador to UN Mission in Geneva
The Israeli government unanimously approved Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar's proposal to appoint Yonatan Feld as Israel's ambassador to the United Nations mission in Geneva. Feld currently serves as Israel's ambassador to Italy and as a non-resident ambassador to San Marino. His diplomatic career includes roles as Deputy Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Foreign Ministry, ambassador to Mexico, and non-resident ambassador to the Bahamas and Belize, as well as ambassador to El Salvador. Additionally, Feld has experience as spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, spokesperson at the Israeli embassy in Washington, and as a department head in the Economic, North American, and African divisions. He has also served as a political advisor to the Knesset Speaker and to the Foreign Minister.
