15-Year-Old Driver Caught Fleeing Police Without License on Highway 77

On the night of July 2, police officers from the Northern District stopped a suspicious vehicle on Highway 77 near the Hoshea interchange. The driver, a 15-year-old minor, attempted to evade the police by speeding away and hiding his face behind the car pillar as officers approached. After the vehicle was stopped, the teenager initially refused to provide his details but handed over his phone, where his father confirmed his identity. The vehicle was impounded for 30 days, and the minor is expected to face charges in juvenile court.
