Prince William Won't Reconcile with Prince Harry Despite King Charles' Meeting

Four days after King Charles III met with his son Prince Harry, Harry's wife Meghan Markle, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, Prince Harry has continued his royal tour in Britain, engaging with military families and participating in public events. The family is expected to return to their Los Angeles home soon, likely without meeting Prince William and his family. Royal expert Kinsey Schofield explained that Prince William understands King Charles' decision to meet Harry and his family, especially given the King's cancer diagnosis, but William has no plans to renew his relationship with Harry. William believes Harry has not earned his way back into the family.

As the heir to the throne, Prince William prioritizes protecting the monarchy's future and questions whether Harry can be trusted, rather than simply considering him part of the family. The recent meeting at Buckingham Palace, the first in four years between Charles and his grandchildren, was emotional but does not erase past conflicts or imply the palace will forget recent events. Schofield noted that while a father can forgive, a king must safeguard the crown, and rebuilding trust is far more difficult than a single meeting.
