Moshe Semel Joins Hapoel Ramat Gan on Loan Ahead of Premier League Return
Hapoel Ramat Gan, newly promoted to the Israeli Premier League after 13 years, has officially signed midfielder Moshe Semel on loan from Puskas Akademi. The 23-year-old Israeli player, who was reported earlier by Sport Channel, joined the club through his agents Adam Kidan and Gilad Katz. Semel is currently in Austria and will immediately join his new teammates at the training camp in Graz.
Semel expressed enthusiasm about his move, stating, "I come to Hapoel Ramat Gan with great hunger and a strong desire to succeed with the team. I really like the new direction the club is taking, aiming high. I've heard a lot about the club's special fans and I am already looking forward to celebrating with them, Yalla Hapoel."
Last season, Semel played for the Hungarian club Puskas Akademi, where he appeared in 13 matches across all competitions and recorded one assist. He is under contract with Puskas Akademi until 2029 but will join Hapoel Ramat Gan on loan. Semel was acquired by Puskas Akademi last summer from Hapoel Rishon LeZion for 300,000 euros. This signing is part of Hapoel Ramat Gan's ongoing efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of their first season back in the top division.
