IDF Continues Targeted Killings of Senior Hamas Commanders in Gaza Strip

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of 12 militants in the Gaza Strip over recent days, including key Hamas commanders. Among those killed were the head of Hamas's production headquarters, the commander of the Nuseirat Brigade, and the leader of the Nukhba unit responsible for the October 7 attack on the Re'im military base.

During the conflict, the commander known as Manaa oversaw workshops producing rocket launchers and led the final stages of their manufacture. He also played a central role in the production headquarters and participated in efforts to rebuild Hamas's capabilities during the ceasefire. Another senior figure, Hamdan, who recently advanced terror plans against IDF forces and attempted to restore Hamas's operational strength, was also killed in a precise aerial strike.

The IDF's operations reflect an ongoing campaign to dismantle Hamas's military infrastructure and leadership in Gaza, targeting those involved in both past attacks and efforts to rearm. The strikes come amid heightened tensions following the October 7 assault and ongoing hostilities in the region.
