Devontae Cacok Signs with Hapoel Jerusalem to Boost Frontcourt Depth

Hapoel Jerusalem has secured forward Devontae Cacok for the upcoming basketball season as part of its efforts to build a competitive roster aimed at winning the EuroCup and securing direct promotion to the EuroLeague. The 29-year-old American player, who spent last season with Murcia in Spain's top league, averaged 11.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. Cacok brings valuable international experience, having played 26 games in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers and several years in the NBA G League.

In the 2023/24 season, he competed in the EuroLeague with Virtus Bologna, facing Europe's elite teams. Known for his athleticism and versatility, Cacok can play both frontcourt positions, offering strong rebounding, effective finishes near the basket, and high energy on both ends of the court. Hapoel Jerusalem views him as a player who will add depth and aggression to their frontline as they prepare for a challenging season under coach Dusko Ivanovic.
