Massive Floods Turn Streets into Rivers in Southern China, Snake Farm Breach Triggers Emergency

Severe floods have recently struck large parts of southern China, causing extensive damage to infrastructure, buildings, and property. Dramatic footage from the affected areas shows major roads, intersections, and city boulevards submerged under rushing water and mud, with many vehicles nearly submerged and swept away by the currents. In one video, powerful floodwaters are seen pouring into a deep construction site.

The floods also severely damaged a local snake breeding farm in Guangxi province. Approximately 900 snakes, including venomous cobras and other species, escaped due to partial destruction of the facility. In response, local authorities launched a large-scale emergency operation to locate and capture the escaped reptiles. Residents in the region have been urged to remain highly vigilant, take safety precautions, and immediately report any snake sightings in public or private areas.
