Har Perachim Ltd. Recalls Organic Goat Cheese Products Over Microbial Contamination
Har Perachim Ltd. has issued a recall for its organic goat milk cheese products following microbial contamination detected by the Haifa District Food Service. The affected product is the 16% fat Safed-style cheese, produced on July 1, 2026, with an expiration date of July 11, 2026, barcode 0710497982825.
As a precaution, the company is also recalling additional batches of its Mildly Salty organic goat milk cheese with 22% fat content. These batches were produced on June 29, July 3, and July 5, 2026, with expiration dates ranging from July 13 to July 19, 2026, barcode 0710497982733.
Consumers who have purchased these products are advised not to consume them. In coordination with the Ministry of Health's Food Service, the dairy is actively collecting the products from distribution channels to prevent further consumption. The recall was announced alongside a photo of the Mildly Salty cheese by the Ministry of Health.
