Israeli Health Ministry Orders Destruction of Unsafe Meat Products at Kiryat Malakhi Butcher
The Israeli Ministry of Health has ordered the destruction of beef and chicken products at the "Maadanei Elia" butcher shop in Kiryat Malakhi. The ministry warned customers who purchased products without proper labeling or past their expiration date not to consume them and to dispose of them immediately. An inspection revealed that the shop held meat products lacking documentation of origin, expired items, and goods without legally required labeling. Additionally, unauthorized production and thawing activities were conducted under unsanitary conditions. Following the directive of the regional veterinarian, approximately 260 kilograms of meat and poultry products deemed unfit for human consumption and posing a public health risk were destroyed.
