Paramedics Resuscitate 67-Year-Old Man Drowning in Kiryat Haim, Condition Critical
A 67-year-old man drowned on Thursday evening at a beach in Kiryat Haim and was rushed to Rambam Hospital in critical condition. Paramedics and EMTs from Magen David Adom (MDA) found the man unconscious, without pulse or breathing, after he was pulled from the sea. They immediately began prolonged resuscitation efforts including chest compressions, artificial respiration, defibrillation, and medication administration.
MDA medic Netan Shahar reported that upon arrival, the man was lying on the shore unresponsive. The emergency team continued advanced life-saving measures while transporting him by ambulance to Rambam Hospital. His condition remains critical as resuscitation efforts continue at the hospital.
