Shin Bet Chief Affirms Subordination to Election Committee Chair Amid Security Concerns

David Zini stated that the Shin Bet is directly subordinate to the Chair of the Central Elections Committee regarding election matters. He assured that every effort will be made to maintain the elections' official status and integrity, underscoring the commitment to safeguarding the democratic process against interference.
