US Strikes Nearly 90 Targets Across Iran in Largest Attacks Since April
The US Central Command launched strikes overnight on approximately 90 targets across Iran, primarily along the Persian Gulf coastline. The attacks targeted air defense systems, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistics infrastructure. For the first time, bridges deep inside Iran were hit, including two bridges in the north and east leading to the city of Mashhad, one of which carries the Gorgan railway line near the village of Ak-Kalah.
Iranian sources estimate around 150 strikes occurred, while opposition sources claim some attacks were more intense than the previous "Great Fury" operation. Official Iranian reports confirm at least three fatalities. This marks the second wave of US strikes within two days, following about 80 targets hit the previous night, totaling roughly 170 targets over 48 hours.
