Seventeen Women Treated After Suspected Poisoning at East Jerusalem Beauty Salon

Seventeen women were hospitalized after losing consciousness at a beauty salon in the al-Tur neighborhood of East Jerusalem on Wednesday. Emergency services suspect the incident was caused by smoke leakage from a generator inside the salon. The women were evacuated in moderate to severe condition, with seven admitted to Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition, five to Shaare Zedek Hospital, and another five to Mount Scopus Hospital in mild condition.

Magen David Adom and firefighting teams responded promptly, providing medical assistance to about twenty individuals who felt unwell, likely due to poisoning.
