Chabad Rabbi Tuvia Bloi, Influential Educator and Author, Dies at 90
Rabbi Tuvia Bloi, a prominent figure in the Chabad community and longtime rabbi of the Chabad congregation in Neve Yaakov, Jerusalem, passed away at the age of 90. Rabbi Bloi authored numerous books and articles on Jewish law, philosophy, and Chassidut, including works such as "Klalei Rashi," "Ner LeMashichi," "Al Minhagim U'Mekoroteihem," and the "Leket U'Prat" series. He also led Torah institutes and translated volumes of the "Likkutei Sichot" into Hebrew. His death comes about three weeks after the passing of his wife, Rebbetzin Chana Fromet.
His funeral will take place today (Wednesday) at 2:00 PM, departing from the Shamgar Funeral Home in Jerusalem to the Chabad section on the Mount of Olives, where he will be buried beside his wife.
