Yair Golan Condemns Shin Bet Chief David Zini Over Loyalty Remarks

Yair Golan, chairman of the Democratic Party, sharply criticized Shin Bet chief David Zini following leaked recordings in which Zini discussed his loyalty to the elected leadership and expressed harsh views on the judiciary. In a social media post, Golan stated that anyone confusing loyalty to the state with loyalty to politicians should not remain in their position even for a single day. He emphasized that Israel's security services must operate with commitment to the state and the law, not to the current political leadership.
