Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball Star Tai Odiase Signs Long-Term Contract Extension

Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball Club officially announced the contract extension of their center, Tai Odiase, through the end of the 2028/29 season. The American player, who joined the team in the summer of 2025, quickly became a key figure for the club. He played a major role in Hapoel's historic debut season in the EuroLeague, helping the team reach the playoffs and secure a spot for the following season in Europe's top basketball competition.

During the last EuroLeague season, Odiase averaged 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds over 29 games, with an impressive 60.3% shooting efficiency on two-point shots. His performance was even stronger in the local Winner League, where he averaged 12.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 72.1% shooting on two-pointers across 19 regular-season games. His outstanding play earned him a prestigious selection to the league's All-League First Team.

Following the signing, Odiase expressed gratitude and excitement about extending his contract and returning to play in front of the home crowd in Israel.
