British Gardener Graham Barratt Sets Two New Guinness World Records for Giant Garlic and Snow Pea

British gardener Graham Barratt from Gloucestershire has set two new Guinness World Records with his extraordinary summer harvest. At the Wargrave nursery in Berkshire, Barratt presented a giant elephant garlic bulb weighing 1.75 kilograms and measuring approximately 19 centimeters in diameter, earning him the record for the heaviest elephant garlic bulb in the world. On the same day, he also set a record for the heaviest snow pea, a Swedish heritage variety, weighing about 28 grams (0.98 ounces). This is not Barratt's first time in the Guinness World Records; in 2025, he achieved four additional records, including the heaviest loofah at 2.82 kilograms and the longest pea pod measuring around 18 centimeters.
