Ultra-Orthodox Protesters Block Entrance to IDF Central Command Base in Jerusalem

Ultra-Orthodox protesters are blocking the entrance to the Central Command base at Metzudat Nehemiah in Jerusalem. The demonstration opposes the conscription of yeshiva students into the Israel Defense Forces. Soldiers who arrived at the base this morning were unable to enter as the protesters remained outside the gate. Police and additional soldiers are currently attempting to disperse the crowd to restore access to the base.
